This weekend, we decided to brave the weather and go into DC. We went to the National Museum of American History, where we saw the Gettysburg Address, the Star-Spangled Banner, and a flying Dumbo from Disneyland (?). (I guess its all part of American History.) We also took turns making presidential speeches...
Then we saw the Washington Monument. We were freezing! It was about 30 degrees and Matthew didn't have a coat or gloves...

I'm glad that you're settling in and have been enjoying all of the cultural sites around you.
But can I just say...I miss you. :(
Looks like fun! Matthew looks like Mountain Man of DC.
